We Are Here For You

Some of the common pressing issues that the teenagers will face include: fear of breaking the news to their parents, stress of having to make a decision, financial concerns, inability to continue with their education during pregnancy and uncertainty about their future.
A Babes worker will discuss the various options available to prepare you fully so that you are able to make an informed decision. Once you have made a decision, we will provide you with the necessary support and link you up with the appropriate resources, depending on what the situation requires.
Besides the helpline, you can also get in touch with a Babes worker through the chat application that is available on our website. Alternatively, you can submit an online enquiry using the enquiry form under the ‘Contact us’ section.
Babes is the only organisation in Singapore that is specifically focused on supporting pregnant teenagers through the crisis. There are programmes run by other agencies that help pregnant women in general, such as ALIFE, Pregnancy Crisis Service etc. In addition, Babesalso works with hospitals, polyclinics and other social service agencies which are able to provide support in terms of medical care, shelter, adoption services, counselling and financial assistance.
Babes does not have a shelter but we can refer you to one if you need shelter.
You can speak to the medical social workers in the hospitals regarding your medical bills if you have difficulties paying them.
Babes will put you in touch with Project Cherub or Touch Adoption Services to help you with the adoption procedures.
Babes will be able to link you up with the relevant resources that can provide you with the financial help you need. We can also assist you with job placement and childcare arrangements.
