Babes Office Opening @Sembawang Crescent
Over 30 guests attended the official opening of Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd’s new office @ Sembawang Crescent on 9th February 2023, graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mayor Alex Yam for North-West District.
Our guests toured our office, a cozy new space equipped with a counselling room, workshop space, and child-friendly facilities to provide the ideal environment to support our youth service-users. They participated in our crystal candle-making workshop led by one of our community members, one of the programs Babes run to equip valuable skills.
In response to a rise in concern over abandoned babies, Babes was started with the mission to support pregnant teenagers and empower them to make the best choice for themselves. Since then, we have journeyed with more than 780 girls and their families, providing them non-judgmental support, empowering them with hope for a better future.
Thank you to our community partners, corporate supporters, and volunteers, for celebrating this momentous occasion with us. We could not have asked for a better family and community to celebrate our #Babes10Anniversary year, a year to mark our achievements and start new beginnings as we go strength to strength in empowering teens and their families.
